Wilco Guitarist Found Dead
Former Wilco guitarist, Jay Bennett, was found dead at 45 years old by his family after apparently dying in his sleep. No cause of death has been determined.
Bennett was a member of Wilco during some of their most prolific albums. He left the band due to a conflict with frontman, Jeff Tweedy, in 2001. He has since recorded 4 albums as a solo artist, as well as one album collaborating with Edward Burch. He worked as a producer, notably for Blues Traveler.
