Scandal Surrounds Kwai Chang Caine's Death
David Carradine’s death is shrouded by scandal and mystery. Kung Fu’s Kwai Chang Caine was apparently into some very kinky and strange sexual acts. Thai tabloid Thai Rath published pictures of Carradine nude and tied hanging from a clothes rail. While the photo is grainy and the face is blacked out, it is confirmed that the man in the picture is Carradine, whose family is taking legal actions against the tabloid and has threatened the same against anyone else who publishes the picture.
His ex-wives seem completely unsurprised. Apparently, bondage and autoerotic asphyxiation were par for the course when it came to the 72 year old action star. Marina Anderson, his fourth wife, has mentioned that she left him in part to the fact that she believe his actions would get him hurt or killed.
This death brings to light the story of Michael Hutchence, former lead singer of INXS. Hutchence hung himself in 1997 with a belt during a sexual escapade. Investigations and interviews have revealed that Carradine’s death was of a very similar cause.
For more on this, just check out Google News. Information on his family’s stance, the scene of his death meeting four of the primary criteria need to suggest autoerotic asphyxiation by investigators, his life and work, and his documented history involving strange sexual acts can all be found in abundance. Even wikipedia has a good deal of information regarding Carradine’s death.
In his 72 years, Carradine brought us great entertainment in his many roles, my personal favorite being Frankenstein in Death Race 2000. In his death, he still brings his audience a story with mystery, suspense, and intrigue. Pretty impressive.
